I test di IOMeter ad accesso casuale con pattern da 4kB evidenziano tutte le potenzialità del disco OCZ.

I valori registrati nel test Queue Depth di 32 sono a dir poco imbarazzanti con un transfer rate massimo di 344 MB/s in lettura e 319 MB/s in scrittura.

In un ambito di utilizzo più vicino ad una situazione reale, ovvero con il test Queue Depth 3, i risultati si assestano su più bassi ma comunque sempre elevati, con oltre 45.000 IOPS e ben 180 MB/s in lettura e scrittura.

A disco usato l'elevata capacità di compressione dei dati da parte del controller favorisce costantemente il drive in scrittura, mentre in lettura, purtroppo, il valore scende riducendo il transfer rate massimo a circa 10.000 IOPS, ovvero 38 MB/s.

Se questo valore vi sembra basso considerate che un HardDisk meccanico Western Digital Velociraptor da 10,000 RPM fornisce un transfer rate di appena 1,8 MB/s in questo test.
