Nei test di IOMeter ad accesso casuale con pattern da 4kB, come potete osservare nel primo grafico, l'Octane non brilla per prestazioni piazzandosi sempre in coda alla classifica, nettamente distanziato dai drive concorrenti nei test di scrittura, un pò meno in quelli di lettura.

A drive usurato abbiamo una buona inversione di tendenza nei test di lettura, dove le prestazioni dell'unità in prova subiscono un calo di prestazioni molto meno marcato rispetto a quello riscontrato sugli SSD concorrenti; con 34784 IOPS nel test QD 32 e 15945 IOPS nel test QD3 l'Octane si piazza al primo posto in entrambi i test staccando decisamente il secondo classificato e facendo segnare prestazioni doppie rispetto al Corsair Force 3.

Infine, le prestazioni in scrittura a drive usurato peggiorano notevolmente rispetto a quelle registrate a drive vergine, toccando un minimo di 12,46MB/s nel test QD 32.
