These are not actually steppings in real life, they are merely codes that AMD use to distinguish between the different quality of chips that come off the production lines. But, with the release of the AYHJA stepping, they have made some real stepping changes, actual changes to the architecture of the chips.
This is taken from official AMD spec sheets, and shows how the CPUID changes with revisions to the chips. And if you do a CPUID check on one of the AYHJA chips, you will find a value of 644 returned.
