    Ciao a tutti.

    Finalmente ho portato a termine l'assemblaggio e gli smatitamenti; sono riuscito a portare il mio duron 650 a 930 e sembra al momento stabile, volevo però capire come portare la RAM ai limiti della frequenza, o meglio capire a quanto sta andando adesso (penso 143 cas 2 visti i settaggi ma ho timore di aver errato ad interpretare i dati).

    OK,

    per la frequenza della ram h trvato risposta al mio quesito e mi rispondo da solo: va a 143Mhz, ma per il cas2 sandra2000 mi dice che la ram è cas3 anche se ho impostato il parametro SDRAM cycle lenght = 2 in bios.

    come posso fare controlli ulteriori e capire come sta andando (cas2 o cas3) ????

    guarda che dai dati del bios, la ram e' a 133, non 143. il cpu fsb + posto a 10, aumenta solo il fsb del duron. il resto della sm (bus ram compreso) e' a 133.

    come vedi ho cannato a rispondermi ... ma mi sono risposto in base a post apparsi sul forum e di cui ho fatto "colletta".

    allora per portare la ram a 143 (per es.) devo portare a 143/33 e non 133/33 + 10, vero??

    giusto. okkio pero' che, cosi' facendo, spingi anche il bus pci e agp (143/4 = 36 circa). potresti avere qualche problema con la scheda grafica e/o periferiche pci. anche se non penso: io sono a quota 145.

    Chiedo scusa... sei sicuro di questo? Qualcuno diceva che quella voce (che se non sbaglio permette di inserire un numero intero fra 1 e 28) serviva solo per permettere di sfruttare tutti i passi di frequenza.. es 106 non esiste, bastava mettere 105 e a 1 quella voce.

    ieri sera sono rientrato tardi ed ho fatto solo i test con sandra, membench ecc. senza andare a smanettare sul bios per verificare il tutto.

    da quanto dicono wcpuid e sandra però la mem è a 143!!

    ora vi posto i risultati (prima devo leggere come inserire immagini).

    Per ora vi mando il "malloppone" del report di sandra per il sistema, la cpu e la ram.

    Le immagini le ho incorporate in file .doc e se le porto in painshop cambiano di brutto colore e tutti poterbbero pensare a taroccamenti, comunque vedo di abilitarmi un account per scaricarle e poi linkarle.
