Stavo per segnalare un nuovo DAC proveniente dalla Cina - l'AURALiC ARK MX+ -
...e prodotto assieme ad un partner tecnico svizzero - Archwave AG - in quanto ha il suo buon driver ASIO su USB asincrona e varie altre cosette interessanti (chissa' forse usa un Sabre...), quando dal manuale leggo con sorpresa questo:
AURALiC recommend you to use a specific computer with ‘clean’ system to achieve best listening experience. Installing a lot of software on operation system will increase the system latency and degrade sound quality.
ARK MX+’s Windows drivers include a specific ASIO driver, it is highly recommended to use audiophile grade software (such as foobar2000, J.River Media Center) which support ASIO output for bit-perfect playback.
Process a Windows system optimization will remarkably improve the sound quality. AURALiC finds ‘CPlay’ with ‘cMP’ to be the best sounding playback software under Windows system so far. Please refer to the following link:
