EVGA has just introduced two factory-overclocked GeForce 9800 GTX+ cards, the Superclocked and SSC Editions and it is the latter that comes close to reaching the so fresh, so clean and round enough 800 MHz mark for the GPU clock. Based around Nvidia's reference design, just like the Superclocked mode, the SSC Edition has 128 Stream Processors clocked at 1944 MHz (1836 MHz stock), 512 MB of GDDR3 memory set to 2304 MHz (2200 MHz) and a GPU clock of 792 MHz (738 MHz). The OC-loving card also features DirectX 10 and SLI support, a PCI-Express 2.0, a 256-bit memory interface and dual-DVI connectivity.
Going down the price and performance ladder, the 9800 GTX+ Superclocked has GPU, shader and memory frequencies of 778, 1890 and 2246 MHz respectively. This one is priced at just under186 euro the Old Continent while the GeForce 9800 GTX+ SSC Edition can be found for as low as 199 euro
