The ASUS Z7S WS workstation board is an Intel 5400 chipset solution for dual processor computing.
Dual LGA771 processor sockets for dual processor goodness! This board also uses digital PWM to power the processors.
The board has three PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots, but only the two red slots run at the full x16 speed, while the white one operates at only x8 speed. There is also one PCI slot and one PCI-X slot. The Z7S WS comes with its own MIO audio card. It is an add-on module which slots into the slot just before the first red PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot.
Six FB-DIMM slots supporting DDR2 800MHz memories
Six SATA connectors on this board internally. The 4-pin ATX12V power connector is also situated here, which is near the edge of the board.
