Scusate, ma l'ho presa da poco così devo avere + informazioni possibili.
Dunque ho notato che questa mobo quando si accende il PC non emette il classico beep, ma fa 3-4 clic clac ed impiega 7-10 sec. prima che arrivi segnale al monitor, e a quanto pare non sono l'unico:
"board takes a long time to POST .. like, 10 seconds. When rebooting, it takes so long that the monitor flickers off from no signal, and then will flicker on after a few seconds"
Che significa tutto ciò?
Ovviamente funziona tutto a dovere.
Le ram che ho preso fanno veramente schifo

scusate ma ho trovato anche questo, ma non ho capito bene, il mio inglese si è arrugginito... dall'esame di maturità sono passati ormai 10 anni
after fooling around the bios, i disabled 'quick post' and now i see why it takes so long to post: it goes through all of the ram and checks it like back in the old days, and says whether its using dual chan ddr or not. i guess the "enable quick post" just keeps the monitor from coming on to show this info

anyways, im reinstalling windows xp now.

le opzioni sono sono force bios e keep current

traduzione: dopo aver gironzolato per il bios ho disabilitato il "post veloce" ed ora vedo perchè impiega così tanto a fare il post: lui scorre tutta la ram e la controlla come ai vecchi tempi e dice se stai usando il dual channel o meno, immagino che abilitare il post veloce prevenga solo l'accensione del monitor durante queste operazioni per non mostrarle...


Non funziona proprio così... in teoria il quick-post velocizza queste operazioni addirittura by-passando lo scan approfondito della memoria che viene fatto in un' unica passata anzichè 3....

10 secondi sono veramente molti, ma penso sia dovuto più a qualche sistema particolare di alimentazione e controllo che non alla fase di lettura delle ram...

ho provato a disabilitare il boot veloce mi sembra che ci impieghi lo stesso tempo e fa anche il classico beep di riconoscimento della CPU
