HighPoint Technologies, Inc. announces the HPT374 PCI four-channel Ultra DMA/ATA133 RAID Controller, the latest generation of HPT3xx series RAID controller family to integrate the latest ATA technology. Unlike previous HPT3xx controllers, the HPT374 supports 4 independent IDE channels.

The HPT374 PCI four-channel Ultra DMA/ATA 133 RAID Controller supports up to 8 Ultra DMA/ATA 133 disk devices with a PCI burst transfer rate up to 133MB/Sec. The HPT374 is fully backward compatible with all hard disk devices - including Ultra DMA/ATA 100, 66, 33 and EIDE Fast ATA-2. The HPT374 co-exists with a motherboard IDE ports, adding four additional IDE ports to PCI 2.0 or higher systems.
