Sapphire presenta una scheda basata su R600 con 256 bit di banda di memoria
Sapphire ha annunciato l'introduzione della scheda video ATI Radeon HD2900 PRO 512 Mb 256 bit. Questa scheda sarà offerta ad un prezzo molto competitivo, a livello di prestazioni si dovrebbe collocare sotto le recenti Radeon HD3850. La scheda è basata sulla GPU R600, ma il bus della memoria è stato ridotto a 256 bit, le frequenze di funzionamento per GPU e RAM (600Mhz/1600Mhz) sono identiche a quella della sorella maggiore con 512 bit di bus.
