    It is common knowledge that old school hackers all have large beards. Alan Cox,RMS and maddog are brilliant examples. The reason for this is that growing a beard is the most interesting use of one's time when the computer is waiting for fsck to finish messing around after a system crash, and on large filesystems, you'll have plenty of time to waste (this might also be why there are so few female hackers; they can't grow beards).

    @ Savve

    come già detto, oltre alla VM, hai per caso conservato anche i file di contorno?

    Questi sono in genere i passi da seguire quando si decide di spostare/utilizzare una VM VmWare
    su hardware differente o su un percorso alternativo.

    1. avviare VmWare (Workstation v9.0.1 nel tuo caso;
    2. selezionare ed attivare la VM oggetto dello spostamento;
    3. non senza aver controllato lo spazio a disposizione, finalizzare il commit di tutti gli snapshot della VM;
    4. individuare la directory di lavoro della VM;
    5. individuare la posizione di tutti i dischi virtuali;
    6. spegnere la VM;
    7. creare una cartella, utile alla copia della macchina virtuale;
    8. copiarvi il file di configurazione (. VMX) della macchina virtuale;
    9. copiarvi i dischi virtuali;
    10. registrare la nuova VM;
    11. aggiungere le copie del disco virtuale alla copia della VM;
    12. ove necessario, procedere all'aggiornamento dell'hardware virtuale;
    13. avviare la VM;
    14. testare la nuova macchina virtuale e, volendo, eliminare i file della vecchia VM originale.

    @the good il file vmx ce l'ho, io avevo capito che ti servivano i file log.

    @totocellux io di questo programma non so una fava, per attivare devo andare su open????

    Ho provato anche a fare l'opzione map virtual disk ma non va piu neanche il file vmdk. Comunque il vecchio hardware ce l'ho ancora se serve lo metto su un'attimo
