Ritorno sull 'argomento per ribadire l'assoluta superiorità del nuovo win10 build 10041 rispetto a win2012 server R2. Non so cosa abbiano fatto in microsoft....

    A buon intenditore poche parole.

How much improvement in sound quality in hibernation ? Have you tried Corning USB 3 optical cable in your setup ?

I disagree to test immediately every new release, yet it's too difficult for me to find the best setup for my Pyramids System so Win 10 could be wait for a while. In the last weeks are coming last official release of Jplay6, after a long series of beta release, the new beta 7 of AO 1.31, and now I need of time to listen to music, searching for best fine tuning into the folds of software settings.
So I' think to wait for new winserver, if 10 will be judged so superior to every other O.S.
Above all that It must be take in consideration that a two PC is different beast than a one PC setup, so it could be interesting to explore the two pc world too with this new OS.
I'm trying Corning USB3 in my system and it doesn't work neither with XMOSnor with Amanero. I'm searching for the reason of that, it could be possible that cable needs more power from the USB portthan usual. I must build another external PSU! It works perfectly with a netbook, jointed to an external HDD.

Hibernation lowers even more background noise and then sculpts more the scene and sound as if you took away another veil.

I have not tried the corning 3 usb optical cable because I have my sound card Asus Xonar st modified and on internal pci slot.

    @bibo01

How do you put Win 10 in hibernate and still have HQ Player running ? When I put Win 10 in to sleep mode, it goes completely to sleep
