Ultimamente si è fatto un gran parlare delle soluzioni NVIDIA basate sulla nuova architettura Fermi, decisamente orientate verso il mondo del GPU Computing. E' logico quindi aspettarsi che le prime informazioni in merito a questi nuovi prodotti siano relative al mercato dei supercomputer.

Secondo quanto dichiarato da NVIDIA, queste soluzioni garantirebbero la medesima potenza di cluster di CPU ad un decimo del costo totale ed ad un ventesimo della potenza assorbita.
