ATI R520??

Che riporta in modo un po "confuso" uno screen che drovrebbe essere stato eseguito con una 520.........forse overclokkata.........o forse in AMR.........o magari con photoshop
A parte che dall'immagine nn si vede la scheda utillizata :

Certo che se fosse a frequenza default sarebbe un notevole risultato.

Se veramante fosse cosi (cosa che dubito fortemente)chi ha speso 400 e passa euro per le x800 e 850 ha letteralmente buttato via i soldi visto il salto generazionale...e la cosa bella e' che io sarei di quelli
cmq penso sia davvero improbabile che Ati commercializzi di gia una Gpu in grado di macinare in questo modo un test come il 3dmerk05...

Se quel risultato fosse stato fato al 3dmark05 da una sola scheda appunto la r520,allora porca miseria se ce stato un salto di prestazioni...anche se rimango scettico.. poi vedremo...

il salto prestazionale è inevitabile
di fatto ATi ha riproposto per 3 anni la medesima architettura....
è obbligata adesso a cercare di fare un passettino più grande anche se l'idea di base dovrebbe rimanere quella di R300

Dal mio punto di vista il salto prestazionale con R520 ci sarà di sicuro,ma dal mio punto di vista oltre a migliorare le performance della scheda,dovrebbero fare un salto a livello di qualità d'immagine...allora si che ci srà un bel passo avanti.

We recently sat down with Daniel Foster, the PR & Marketing Manager for the EMEA region for Sapphire and had an interesting chat about their current lineup and whats in store. Sapphire is the biggest ATI graphics card manufacturer and produces boards for ATI as well as large OEMs companies. They have their own retail brand as well which focuses on everything from mainstream to the enthusiastic segment. The following are some of the points mentioned in our conversation. Actual quotes from Dan are in yellow:

* As per the current plans, we expect ATI to announce their new GPU(s) in June. Now, Computex starts on the 31st of May this year and goes on till the 4th of June but as per our understanding, the announcement will be after Computex. However, we won’t be surprised if ATI moves it up by a few days as Computex is one of the biggest tech shows. That about as much information as we’re allowed to reveal on the 520 at this moment.
