SuperRam has been in development for several years, and this latest version incorporates many new features and improvements over previous versions of SuperRam. Listed below are some of the prominent new features.


  • Fully compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 2000, 2003 and 2008. Previous versions of Windows 95, 98, Me and NT are no longer supported.
  • Fully compatible with all 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows Vista and Windows 2008. Software has been thoroughly tested on 64-bit platforms to ensure full compatibility. Also fully compatible with 32-bit editions of Windows XP, 2000 and 2003.
  • Handles up to 2 TB of RAM on Windows 2008 and up to 128 GB of RAM on Windows Vista. Windows XP, 2000 and 2003 still support up to 4 GB of RAM.
  • SuperRam now runs as a Windows Service application, which allows the software to run even when you are not logged into the computer ensuring Windows is running at optimal performance at all times.
  • New settings added to prevent excessive memory defragmentation, monitoring processor usage and battery status.
  • New memory defragmentation engine, runs much faster and supports higher amounts of RAM. Memory releases back to the computer system three times as fast as previous versions of SuperRam.
  • New memory benchmark test feature has been added in to get an estimate of how fast and stable your computer memory is.
  • Added global hotkey support, pressing CTRL+ALT+F at anytime will manually free memory back to the computer.
  • Entire software has been rewritten from the ground up, no old code was used in this version of SuperRam.
  • New and improved modern user interface, easy and intuitive to use and compliant with Windows user interface guidelines.
  • Software supports multiple languages and translations of all visible text to allow users all over the world to use SuperRam in their native language.
