In una mail ai propri clienti, Grays of Westminster, storico rivenditore inglese del marchio Nikon, ha comunicato che adesso è il momento più adatto per acquistare i prodotti ancora in magazzino poichè, dal primo marzo 2009, saranno soggetti ad aumenti anche molto consistenti. E' per esempio il caso del Nikkor 300mm f2,8 AF-S VR che passerebbe da 3.299,00 Pound a quasi 5.000,00 (!): un salto di oltre 1.700 sterline che, tradotto in Euro, porterebbe ad una cifra finale di 5.582,00.
