Problema E-sata.

Ciao a tutti.
La faccio il piu' breve possibile: ho un hd esterno che puo'e ssere collegato sia tramite USB che tramite esata.

Ora, tramite usb funziona alla perfezione, tramite esata assolutamente no: seven non lor ileva.

(Preciso che non utlizzo una specifica porta esata, ma una normale porta sata della mobo con cavo adattatore sata/esata).

Qualcuno sa per caso illuminarmi sul come farlo funzionare?

Come e' impostato il controller SATA della mobo?

Se sei su IDE non puoi permetterti di collegare i dischi "hotswap", devi impostare il SATA in AHCI e prima di questo devi aggiornare i driver nel sistema operativo in modo che possa supportare la nuova modalità.

Se sposti sul bios da IDE ad AHCI senza la procedura adeguata, il sistema operativo ti darà schermata blu ogni volta che tenti di avviarlo.

Il problema è che al momento nn riesco a trovare dove avevamo postato la guida per effettuare questa modifica... Mannaggia!!!

Vediamo se arriva qualcun'altro in aiuto!!!

Sono gia in AHCI, avevo gia settato cosi' prima di istallare l'os.

passare su win7 da IDE a AHCI



Information: AHCI stand for Advance Host Controller Interface. AHCI is a hardware mechanism that allows software to communicate with Serial ATA (SATA) devices (such as host bus adapters) that are designed to offer features not offered by Parallel ATA (PATA) controllers, such as:

* Hot-Plugging
* Native Command Queuing (NCQ) -might improve computer/system/hard disk responsiveness, especially in multi-tasking environment

Instruction: There is one way to fix this, although you need to have knowledge of registry editing.
The detailed steps from Microsoft website are as follows:

* Exit all Windows-based programs.
* Press [Win] + R or take the RUN option from the start menu.
* Now type regedit there and press Enter Key to open up the Registry Editor Window.
* If you receive the User Account Control dialog box, click Continue.
* Locate and then click the following registry subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\msahci

* In the right pane, right-click Start in the Name column, and then click Modify.

* In the Value data box, type 0 [3 is default], and then click OK.

* On the File menu, click Exit to close Registry Editor.
* Restart your computer
* Go to BIOS and enable AHCI, Save & Reboot
* Another restart will be required to finish the driver installation.

P.s.: Per Esata alternativo intendo un collegamento SATA -> e-SATA come il tuo, definiamolo "ibrido"...

No, la mini itx non ha porte e-sata.
Il disco e' un caviar da 1 tera inserito in un supporto esterno.

Pensavo fosse un disco che si alimenta tramite usb o E-Sata, non uno di quelli con alimentatore esterno... Cmq si dovrebbe andare benissimo...

E' moltro stano che non funzioni, sto cercando di capire cosa esattamente potrebbe dare questo problema... Se monti il disco interno tramite sata funziona?

Stessa cosa. In sostanza lo riconosce solo connesso tramite usb.
