Nella mia installazione su HD Debian ha la veste grafica Xfce . Ho installato L.M.S. dai repo ufficiali vers. 7.9.0( fatta con gdebi )
Se manca qualcosa non lo so'
Uso indifferentemente Lubuntu . Poi faccio la ricognizione anche con qello.

Nella cartella del Plugin (dovrebbe essere /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/Plugins) hai:
C3PO/Bin/x86_64-linux/C-3PO ? Ha i permessi di esecuzione corretti?
puoi postarmi il contenuto del file /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/plugin/C3PO.prefs (occho a non modificarlo).

premesso che la cartella in cui ho messo C3PO originalmente è in /usr/share/squeezeboxserver/Plugins .....sara' questo il problema?
nella cartella che hai citato: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/Plugins non c'è niente
contenuto del file /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/plugin/C3PO.prefs

Da me la seconda è un simlink alla prima, quindi non è un problema, ma non vorrei che fosse l'installazione del primo plugin a crearlo, non ne ho idea. Le direttive di LMS sono di metterli nella cartella che ti ho indicato, io farei una prova in quel modo.
Tieni presente che in versione definitiva queste operazioni non saranno più necessarie.
