MSI neo2-------------
got my msi k8neo2 plat. + winchester 3500 + 2 x A-Data 512 DDR. For the first half hour everything worked fine. Then after rebooting a couple of times, I can't turn on my computer, the power switch doesn't work, I've even tried to start it by shorting the two pins with a screwdriver, but nothing. The fans just start spinning for like half a second when I switch ON my power supply. I thought I'd done something really bad, so I decided to test with my Antec TruePower 550W - same result. But here's the thing that makes me ill inside. With my old Chieftec power supply on 340W my new system works fine, no problem what so ever. I thought I'd broke my OCZ PowerStream 470W & Antec TruePower 550W, so I decided to test them in my old system and they work perfect! I'm seriously thinking of comitt suicide or something... What's the problem, do anyone in the whole wide world know what's going on here???? I would be forever greatful to the one who can crack this!

We've heard of problems with our TruePower's and Abit's AV8 motherboard.
Recently Abit reported that our True power series has compatibility issue with their AV8. The symptom is the system will be in reboot loop during startup. We've tested all Truepower models here and haven't been able to recreate the problem.
According to our engineers, the symptom is not happening to every unit, but rather to a few here and there. They have found out that the instability was caused by 5Vsb and they come up with a solution by changing a capacitor in the power supply.
As a service to our customers we're replacing problem TruePowers with these updated versions. We instituted an inline change for all TruePower power supplies so that in the near future exchanging the PSU's with us will not be necessary.

SteveOCZ has replied over here to someone using an OCZ on a Neo 2.

Ok I got a reply back. We've had a Neo 2 running with a power stream for over a week with no problems, but he did mention something that he ran into a few times. He noticed that sometimes the MSI board is a bit weird in that sometimes it won’t reboot unless you disconnect all the power connectors from every device (including drives) and also pull out the CMOS battery and short the two CMOS battery connectors together for a few minutes.
I'm assuming you did disconnect everything when you changed power supplies but did you try clearing the bios? If you did any things are still a no go we should go ahead and RMA the power supply so we can test it out and get you a new one that works 100%
