    Predefinito problema con pixel shader su hd 2600 pro agp

    Salve a tutti è la prima volta che scrivo e vi propongo un quesito che vorrei risolvere .
    Come da titolo la mia scheda madre è provvista di pixel shader 4.0 ma provando a lanciare alcuni giochi ( vedi superstar v8 racing o l'ultimo Vancouver 2010 ) mi compare la bella finestrella che mi chiede almeno pixel shader o vertex shader 3.0 . !!!!!
    Ho installato gli ultimi driver disponibili .
    Come processore ho un athlon amd 64 su cui tempo fà scaricai una estensione ( se così si dice ) dual core .
    Mi potete aiutare a venirne fuori ?

    Prova a lanciare l'utility dxdiag e vedi cosa riporta.

    Dalle dxdiag risulta che tu non sei in possesso di una 2600 pro, ma di qualcosa più vecchio...

    l'ho notato anch'io , ma il bello è che la scatola imballata mi dice il contrario . Premetto che la scheda , AGP e non PCI , è della sapphiretech . Che ci sia la sola tipo il classico mattone nella scatola ? Mi sà che devo chiedere lumi al venditore .

    Infatti quello che riportano le dxdiag:

    è piuttosto sospetto. O ti hanno fatto il classico "pacco" o i driver che hai installato non riconoscono correttamente la scheda.

    già ma il dxdiag che ho postato viene fuori con i driver in dotazione nell'imballaggio .ora provo a installare i driver specifici per la hd 2600 pro agp dal sito sapphire e poi rilancio il dxdiag e vi faccio sapere.i

    disinstallato driver con DC in mod provvisoria e poi CCleaner sempre in mod prov ;
    installato ultimi driver per HD 2600 pro agp e questo è il report di dxdiag:
