La formula ottica contempla un design composto da 13 elementi raccolti in 11 gruppi, 1 elemento ibrido asferico ed un elemento con trattamento ED per il contenimento dei fenomeni di aberrazione. Le aperture massime e minime in grandangolo e tele sono rispettivamente F3,5-5,6 e F22-38. Distanza minima di messa a fuoco, 40 centimetri dal soggetto; diaframma a 7 lamelle arrotondate; diametro filtri 62 millimetri.
