The Hydra 8800 was designed specifically for the NVIDIA 8800 GTX and 8800 Ultra cards. These high performance cards produce tremendous amounts of heat, so they need a cooler with impressive capability.
The user-friendly and convenient design of the Hydra 8800 features swiveling 3/8" and 1/2" barbs and a complete cooling solution that cools everything from the GPU and memory to the MOSFET modules and any other heat producing parts. To augment the highly efficient liquid cooling system inside the block are three heatpipes to transfer heat to aluminum fins that are actively cooled by a 75 mm Blue LED fan that spins silently, pulling air across the entire cooler.
