    Dunque... dal primo test con 3DMark05 ho subito notato un peggioramento. Sono passato dai 10820 del 6.2 ai 10.610 dei 6.3.
    Il secondo test l'ho concentrato con Serious Sam 2 mettendo come sempre il profilo ultra (Ovvero tutto il dettaglio massimo possibile settabile dal catalyst control center) e tutti i dettagli al massimo nel menu del gioco. Ecco subito una differenza enorme da prima: per il cambio di impostazioni ci ha impiegato quasi il doppio del tempo (non so se avete presente il Sam 2 quando compare la progressbar blu) e verso la fine è stato occupato tutto il giga di ram cosa che prima non arrivava nemmeno al 70% (Forse questo ha inciso molto sul sistema in generale in quanto 3DMark05 ha girato subito dopo 30 minuti circa di gioco a SS2 ed anche iul pc si è spento con un ritardo mai visto prima d'ora. In conclusione non vorrei essere stato influenzato da questa "occupazione" di risorse in più rispetto ai 6.2 ma graficamente sembra essere migliorato l'effetto parallax, o almeno è l'unica cosa che ho notato visivamente!

    Dato che sono usciti anche gli OMEGA basati sulla versione dei catalyst 6.3 e dato che i primi non li ho mai provati qualcuno saprebbe spiegarmi la differenza? Sono più performanti? Sono stabili al 100%?

    normalmente gli omega non sono più performanti, anzi... ottimizzano la qualità e, ove possibile, migliorano la stabilità....
    oltretutto ti liberano del pesantissimo control center....

    dipende cosa devi farci.... se devi fare il record del 3dmark no, sono tendenzialmente meno prestazionali... per il resto direi forse leggermente meglio ottimizzati che non migliore... le differenze non sono così grandi... ma vale sempre la pena provarli

    migliori è una parola grossa... ottimizzati, ma non per la velocità... se sei uno che fa del 3dmark la sua ragione di vita sono i drivers perggiori... se vuoi la qualità, aiutano un po' rispetto agli standard, ma non fanno i miracoli...
