Conclusion (1)
Overclocking the FX-57 wasn’t that exciting. Our particular unit didnt touch 3.0GHz even after applying some additional voltage. It wasn’t the temperature that was causing the problem as the CPU was running reasonably cool- it just did not want to overclock much. The price that ATD has set for this CPU is $1030 which is higher than their X2 4800 Dual core CPU and, in our opinion, a bit too much on the higher side.
