In attesa di cMP², quale cue editor per Ubuntu?

    Predefinito In attesa di cMP², quale cue editor per Ubuntu?

    L'amico Audiodan mi ha convinto: al rientro dal Top Audio mi aiuterà a realizzare il mio primo cMP². Fino a ieri ero convinto che avrei seguito la strada di Linux, dunque ora mi ritrovo centinaia di cartelle piene di file musicali senza .cue o con tali file non funzionanti. Utilizzando Deadbeef non mi ero mai posto il problema, ed ora un arduo compito mi attende. Avendo la libreria musicale archiviata nel pc Linux che uso per lavorare (e preferendo per ovvie ragioni effettuare qui l'operazione di cue editing, piuttosto che nell'hard disk esterno da cui leggerà i dati cMP), potreste suggerirmi un cue editor analogo a Recursive in grado di girare su Ubuntu, possibilmente senza Wine? Avevo pensato a Qed (QeD - The Ultimate Liveset Cuesheet Editor | HOME), ma lo sviluppo è fermo al 2006 e l'installazione dal terminale a partire dal file .bin non è andata a buon fine. Insomma, help! E grazie a tutti in anticipo.

    scusa ma nel frattempo... una partizione XP su cui installare Recursive e preparare la libreria in ottica cMP² non pui farla?

    no mi riferivo al pc che userai per cmp2, almeno il sistema operativo puoi installarlo....

    Il cMP² è ancora tutto da costruire, non ho nemmeno i componenti. Avrei voluto preparare i .cue sul pc da lavoro e poi trasferire tutta la libreria sui due hard disk esterni WD My Book Essential già in mio possesso (uno di essi è destinato al backup). Potrei utilizzare un netbook Asus con Windows 7 collegato al WD, ma come dicevo preferirei evitare di scrivere sui dischi esterni.
    Peccato, perché Qed sembrava davvero una buona soluzione alternativa a Recursive cue Creator. Purtroppo non riesco a farlo funzionare. Questo è il responso del terminale (utilizzo Ubuntu 11.10; premetto che Java è installato):

    P.S. Aggiornamento: la soluzione potrebbe essere quella indicata qui: http://qed.qproject.org/forum/viewto...26867a2ecf279e
    Farò un nuovo tentativo, altrimenti dovrò per forza lavorare sugli hard disk esterni via netbook con Win7 e Recursive. Per generare file .cue su Linux conosco solo Qed e Cuegen (che però lavora solo da un drive cd-rom o dvd-rom), a meno che non mi suggeriate voi un altro software.

    Non ti sò aiutare ma di solito questi problemi dipendono da problemi con qualche libreria, forse in una versione sbagliata.

    Però c'è anche un problema di accesso ad un file??

    Sì, infatti poi come puoi vedere ho provato un altro comando. Mi sono limitato ad applicare i suggerimenti del programmatore di Qed indicati nella pagina di supporto del software (vedi link postato nel mio precedente intervento). In effetti pare proprio un conflitto tra librerie: quella installata sul mio pc è la più recente, mentre Qed è un programma "morto". Pazienza.

    Allora, andiamo con ordine.
    Sul sito ufficiale parlano del supporto di Java dalla "minimum JRE 1.5.0" quindi se la tua installazione di Java è funzionante dovrebbe andare bene.

    è lo stesso indicato qui, sempre su ubuntu. In base alle indicazioni del blog, ti suggerirei di provare con

    codice:
     /bin/bash ./qed_2.0_setup.bin
    E vedi se così l'installazione va avanti.

    In grassetto, c'è la riga 185 dello script. Effettivamente potrebbe essere un problema come quello segnalato nel blog che ti ho linkato.

    Ho provato a lanciarlo usando bash e in effetti l'installer supera quel punto e va avanti. A me si pianta in un'altro momento ma nel caso vediamo cosa si può fare...
